Bassano Parquet is a factory whose story begins with the Andreatti family and... whip handles made from flexible bagolaro wood. Only in the 1920s, after two sawmills and imports of spruce and larch from across Europe, did the company arrive at wood as a flooring material, and it has stayed faithful to it ever since.
The philosophy of Bassano Parquet is a gentle, hands-on feel for wood, multiplied by engineering precision. Every collection bears the marks of a master: hand planing, brushing, heat treatment, and natural oils. That is why the catalog includes more than 20 collections and 16 wood species, from oak and walnut to chestnut and teak, with finishes ranging from lacquer, oil, and wax to exclusive aging techniques.
